Self-exclusion

Most US sportsbooks offer voluntary self-exclusion programs that block you from depositing or wagering for a set period (often 1 year, 5 years, or lifetime). Each state and each sportsbook handles enrollment differently.

The National Council on Problem Gambling maintains a list of state-by-state self-exclusion programs at ncpgambling.org/help-treatment/self-exclusion.

Signs to watch for

If any of these resonate, calling 1-800-GAMBLER is a free, confidential first step.
