These terms govern your use of LineIQ, an AI sports analytics application operated by Thinker Hill LLC, and the website at lineiq.io. By creating an account, downloading the app, or using lineiq.io, you agree to these terms.
The short version. LineIQ is an analytics tool, not a sportsbook. We show our reasoning. We do not take bets or hold funds. We are not responsible for outcomes of bets you place on third-party sportsbooks. You must be 21 or older where required by your local law.
1. Who we are
LineIQ is operated by Thinker Hill LLC ("we", "us", "our", "LineIQ"). For questions about these terms, contact legal@lineiq.io.
2. What LineIQ is, and is not
LineIQ is a software application that surfaces sports analytics. We compute model probabilities, line comparisons across publicly listed sportsbook lines, closing line value tracking, and editorial commentary, for informational purposes only.
LineIQ is not:
- A sportsbook. We do not accept wagers or hold any funds.
- A tipster service that guarantees outcomes. We show our reasoning and are honest when the model is uncertain.
- A licensed gambling operator. All wagering you choose to do happens on third-party services, where they are licensed in your jurisdiction.
- Financial or investment advice. Sports betting is not investing.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to create a LineIQ account. Where required by your local law, you must be 21 or older to use any sportsbook referenced in the app. By using LineIQ you confirm you meet these requirements.
If you are in a jurisdiction where sports betting is illegal, you remain free to use LineIQ for analytical and educational purposes, but you may not place wagers based on our analysis.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you discover unauthorized use of your account, contact us immediately.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we suspect are being used for fraud, abuse, or attempts to scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Subscriptions
LineIQ Pro is a paid subscription priced at $19.99 per month, billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. The trial ends when you cancel or when 14 days elapse, whichever comes first.
Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Cancel anytime from your App Store or Play account settings. We do not control App Store or Play refund policies; refund requests must go through Apple or Google.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use LineIQ for anything illegal, including gambling where it is illegal.
- Share your account credentials with anyone.
- Reproduce, scrape, redistribute, or resell our model outputs, picks, or analytical content.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from our app or APIs.
- Submit any content to LineIQ that is unlawful, threatening, or that you do not have rights to share.
7. Intellectual property
LineIQ, the LineIQ name and logo, the model outputs, and all software powering the app are owned by Thinker Hill LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use.
8. No warranty
LineIQ is provided "as is". Sports outcomes are inherently uncertain. The model is wrong sometimes. We do not warrant that any pick will win, that any line is the best price available, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Thinker Hill LLC nor any of its officers, employees, or affiliates is liable for any losses you incur from wagers placed on third-party sportsbooks, whether or not those wagers were informed by LineIQ analysis. Our total liability for any claim relating to LineIQ is limited to the amount you paid us in subscription fees in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thinker Hill LLC from claims arising out of your violation of these terms or your unlawful use of the service.
11. Termination
You can terminate your relationship with LineIQ at any time by deleting your account from inside the app. We can terminate your access if you violate these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where required by law, notify you in-app. Continued use of LineIQ after a change constitutes acceptance.
